City of Fort Morgan, Extension partner to offer series of landscape programs

Colorado

Beginning Sept. 2 for 10 weeks, the City of Fort Morgan and Extension are partnering to provide a series of programs on different landscape topics, open to the public. The sessions will be held on Tuesday nights beginning at 7 p.m., at the Extension office, 914 E. Railroad Ave.

Topics include planting bulbs, tree pruning/planting techniques and tree selection, ornamental grasses and turfgrass for the landscape, care and selection of roses, renovating perennial flower beds, soils/amendments/composting, insects in the landscape, and preparing landscapes for winter.
