St. Joseph feeder pigs

The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 75 head Sept. 16, compared to 346 head last week and 156 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo.

The light offering of feeder pigs was not enough to fully test prices, however the market showed a lower undertone when compared to last week's good test. Prices were paid per head on actual weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: package 42 lbs., 12.00; package 79 lbs., 37.50; package 130 lbs., 58.00.

U.S. 1 to 3: package 24 lbs., 8.00; package 59 lbs., 8.00.
