Sioux Falls feeder pigs

The Sioux Falls feeder pig auction, Sioux Falls, S.D., reported receipts of 520 head Sept. 16, compared to 76 head last week and 788 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Trends were not applicable due to very light receipts last sale. Buyer attendance was light with light demand. All sales based on actual weight and by the head.

U.S. 1 to 2: 51 head, 25 lbs., 8.00; 231 head, 34 lbs., 17.00; 147 head, 45 lbs., 20.50; 50 head, 72 lbs., 25.00.
