Pratt 3 p.m.cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Sept. 10, reported estimated receipts of 3,000 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, steers at 700 to 950 pounds were steady to $3 lower, the bulk of trade were $1 to $2 lower. Heifers at 600 to 700 pounds had no comparison with last week, although a lower undertone was noted, and those at 700 to 950 pounds were steady to $2 lower. Steers at 700 pounds and heifers at 600 pounds and under were not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 19 head, 706 lbs., 114.00; 41 head, 785 lbs., 112.25; 800 to 850 l10.75 to 112.75; 850 to 900 lbs., 110.25; 900 to 950 lbs., 106.10 to 108.85.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 109.50 to 109.75; 650 to 700 lbs., 106.25 to 107.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 107.25 to 107.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 104.00 to 105.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 104.00 to 106.00; 21 head, 869 lbs., 102.50; 5 head, 941 lbs., 100.85; 17 head, 981 lbs., 101.25.
