Georgia cattle auction summaryThe weekly summary of Georgia livestock auctions for the week ending Sept. 5, totaled 10,754 head, compared to 10,782 head last week and 10,608 head last year, according to the USDA-Georgia Department of Agriculture Market News, Thomasville, Ga. Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls were steady to $1 higher, feeder steers were steady to $2 higher, heifers were steady to $3 higher, steer calves were $1 to $3 higher, heifer calves were steady to $2 higher, replacement cows were steady to $3 higher.
