Clovis cattle sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction, Clovis, N.M., Sept. 3, reported estimated receipts of 1,000 head, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last month's Holstein special, steers were $2 to $4 lower on limited receipts.

Holstein steers: Large frame 3, 200 to 300 lbs., 70.00 to 75.00; few 300 to 400 lbs., 71.00 to 76.00; 450 to 500 lb. load lots 80.50 to 82.50, packages 73.00 to 78.50; small lot 577 lbs., 73.50; package 690 lbs., 66.00.
