Apache cattle sales report

Stockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 1,839 head Sept. 4, compared to 2,330 head last week and 3,221 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and feeder heifers were steady. Steer and heifer calves were steady. Demand was good. The supply included 76% over 600 pounds and 32% heifers.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 13 head, 404 to 445 lbs., 120.00 to 128.50 (124.37); 12 head, 465 to 499 lbs., 116.50 to 122.00 (120.08); 7 head, 497 lbs., 115.00 fleshy; 17 head, 534 to 538 lbs., 114.00 to 117.50 (116.07); 552 to 585 lbs., 117.00 to 120.50 (117.95); 6 head, 526 lbs., 114.50 fleshy; 20 head, 592 lbs., 114.60 fleshy; 5 head, 606 lbs., 112.00 calves; 14 head, 659 lbs., 112.10 calves; 624 to 649 lbs., 113.25 to 120.50 (116.93); 655 to 694 lbs., 114.35 to 117.00 (114.84); 700 to 743 lbs., 111.00 to 114.00 (112.67); 756 to 785 lbs., 109.00 to 112.75 (111.56); 801 to 821 lbs., 110.00 to 111.10 (110.55); 854 to 878 lbs., 106.00 to 107.50 (107.19); 8 head, 907 lbs., 103.75; 5 head, 1105 lbs., 93.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 10 head, 412 lbs., 115.00; 9 head, 604 lbs., 112.75; 5 head, 812 lbs., 105.00.

Feeder bulls: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 447 lbs., 115.00; 6 head, 498 lbs., 117.00; 15 head, 526 to 540 lbs., 112.00 to 116.00 (114.37); 7 head, 518 lbs., 108.00 fleshy. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 10 head, 451 lbs., 110.00; 5 head, 540 lbs., 107.00.
