Ada livestock sales report

The Southern Oklahoma Livestock, Ada, Okla, reported receipts of 1,000 head Sept. 4, compared to 1,475 head last week and 1,629 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium. The supply included 41% heifers and 29% over 600 pounds.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 3 head, 325 lbs., 131.00; 413 to 437 lbs., 124.00 to 125.50 (125.18); 19 head, 508 to 540 lbs., 111.00 to 115.00 (114.24); 18 head, 578 to 596 lbs., 110.00 to 113.00 (111.05); 18 head, 613 to 639 lbs., 109.00 to 110.00 (109.78); 3 head, 692 lbs., 107.00; 15 head, 807 to 841 lbs., 100.00 to 105.00 (101.62). Medium and large frame 2, 7 head, 420 to 446 lbs., 112.00 to 115.00 (113.76); 10 head, 480 to 494 lbs., 110.00 to 111.00 (110.71); 19 head, 500 to 545 lbs., 105.00 to 110.00 (109.44); 12 head, 560 to 590 lbs., 103.00 to 109.00 (106.59); 11 head, 600 to 629 lbs., 106.00 to 107.00 (106.26); 14 head, 657 to 679 lbs., 100.00 to 105.00 (102.16); 2 head, 738 lbs., 100.00.
