Limousin Junior Association bestows honorary membershipThe North American Limousin Junior Association named T.J. Kervin, Winnfield, La., as an honorary member during the July 18 awards banquet at the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress in Sioux Falls, S.D. For many years, he has provided the juniors with generous financial support and other forms of encouragement. He also was a driving force behind the 2007 NJLSC in West Monroe, La. Each year, NALJA selects an outstanding individual who has shown exceptional commitment and care toward Limousin juniors for honorary membership. The North American Limousin Foundation (www.nalf.org), headquartered in Centennial, Colo., provides programs and services--including genetic evaluation of 5,000 active sires--to more than 4,000 members and their commercial customers. The Limousin breed and its Lim-Flex hybrid lead the beef industry in muscle-growth efficiency and ideally complement British breeds. 9/1/08 Date: 8/22/08 Advertisement
