Clovis livestock sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 1,000 head Aug. 27, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last week, feeder steers under 600 pounds unevenly steady, over 600 pounds were $3 to $4 higher. Heifers were $3 to $4 higher.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, package 337 lbs., weaned 145.00; 400 to 450 lbs., 129.00 to 131.00; package 402 lbs., weaned 140.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 115.00 to 120.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 105.00 to 112.75; packages 607 to 617 lbs., 112.00; packages 661 to 662 lb. calves 100.00 to 103.50. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, package 245 lbs., 144.00; package 365 lbs., 133.00; package 488 lbs., 115.50; 500 to 600 lbs., 109.00 to 111.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 105.00 to 111.25; 702 to 708 lbs., 107.00 to 114.00. Medium and large frame 2, 650 to 700 lbs., 108.00 to 109.00; package 707 lbs., 108.00; package 865 lbs., 102.00.

Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, package 282 lbs., weaned 116.00; 300 to 400 lbs., 111.00 to 117.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 109.00 to 113.50; 500 to 550 lbs., 107.00 to 109.50; package 597 lbs., fleshy 97.00; few 600 to 700 lbs., 106.00 to 107.00; package 652 lbs., fleshy 85.00.
