Apache livestock sales reportStockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 750 head Aug. 21, compared to 2,142 head last week and 2,307 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, there were not enough cattle for a trend, because of 5 to 6 inches of rain the past week. Demand was moderate. The supply included 70% over 600 pounds and 56% heifers. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 3 head, 480 lbs., 120.00; 19 head, 510 to 526 lbs., 111.50 to 120.00 (118.42); 4 head, 579 lbs., 117.50; 4 head, 553 lbs., 111.00 fleshy; 12 head, 653 to 683 lbs., 112.00 to 113.50 (112.61) calves; 15 head, 738 lbs., 113.00; 5 head, 781 lbs., 110.75 full; 10 head, 823 lbs., 110.75; 2 head, 868 lbs., 105.00; 8 head, 915 to 936 lbs., 103.00 to 106.25 (104.61). Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 4 head, 516 lbs., 114.00; 718 to 737 lbs., 112.00 to 113.25 (112.80); 18 head, 752 to 757 lbs., 109.75 to 112.00 (110.75).
