Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 875 head Aug. 21, compared to 1,500 head last week and 1,706 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady to $1 higher. Feeder heifers were steady to $2 higher. Quality was average to attractive. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 43% heifers and 50% over 600 pounds.
