St. Joseph feeder pigs

The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 52 head Sept. 30, compared to 28 head last week and 130 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo.

Compared to last week, feeder pigs not well tested on light supply, however pigs sold with a higher undertone. Prices paid per head on actual weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: package 46 lbs., 31.00; lot 66 lbs., 46.00; package 72 lbs., 34.00; package 101 lbs., 51.00.

U.S. 2 to 3: package 67 lbs., 31.00.
