Dodge City cattle sales reportDodge City Winter Livestock, Inc., reported receipts of 867 head Oct. 15, compared to 2,260 head last week and 4,140 head last year, according to the USDA-Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, not enough steers and heifers for a market test, although a steady undertone was noted. Slaughter cows on a light test were $1 to $3 higher. Slaughter bulls not enough for test, a steady undertone was noted. Receipts included 68% 600 pounds and over, 29% under 600 pounds and 3% slaughter cows and bulls with 29 head, early.
