Rancher Conservation Easement Workshop in Crawford, Nov. 6

The Running Water Ranch Coalition, UNL Extension and partners are sponsoring this workshop to familiarize ranchers with various aspects of conservation easements on ranches in Nebraska.

The event is set for Nov. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Crawford Community Hall, Crawford, Neb.

Speakers will include:

--Laura Dallas, Wyoming Stockgrower's Association Land Trust, Easements;

--Jim Gardner, CPA Falco & Associates, Easement Tax Implications;

--Tanya Storer, Independent Cattlemen of Nebraska, Pros & Cons;

--Material from Nebraska Land Trust.

Additional support is provided by the Panhandle Resource and Conservation District, the Nebraska Environmental Trust and the Northwest Nebraska High Country Group.
