Distillers grains seminar set Oct. 28

Oklahoma

Oklahoma State University's Oklahoma Panhandle Research and Extension Center is hosting a seminar regarding the use of ethanol by-products in beef cattle production Oct. 28 at 5 p.m., in their facility at the OPSU Farm. Anyone interested in learning about distillers products is welcome to attend.

Conestoga Energy, the ethanol plant in Liberal, Kan., is sponsoring the free meal. Several experts from the 5-state area will cover integration of the products into nutrition programs, sulfur concerns, and the future of the ethanol industry.

Those who wish to attend are asked to pre-register by Oct. 23 for the free seminar by calling 580-349-5439.
