NCTA Open House showcases the future of agricultureNebraska Technology is constantly changing the face of agriculture, and the NCTA Open House will showcase the technological advances within the college' s academic programs. The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis will be hosting its annual open house Oct. 15. Students, parents, and the general public are invited to campus to explore the many interactive classrooms and demonstrations from the agriculture production, veterinary technology, agribusiness, and horticulture fields. Interactive Classrooms Highlights Include: --Small animal surgery; --Equine dentistry; --Methane digester; --Harvest demonstrations; --Credit management; --Feeder cattle grading; --Low stress cattle handling --Ultrasound; --Vibralung; --Holographic Imaging; --Field Turf Management; The NCTA Open House will begin at 9 a.m., with interactive classrooms starting at 10 a.m. The Ag Career Fair, Aggie Alumni Panel, and free lunch will all begin at 12 p.m. To register for the NCTA Open House, please call Larry Cooper at 1-800-3CURTIS. 10/13/08 Date: 10/3/08 Advertisement
