Pratt 3 p.m cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 1,700 head as of 3 p.m., Oct. 30, according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, steers at 600 to 900 pounds were $2 to $3 higher, compared with last week's limited receipts. Heifers at 600 to 800 pounds were $1 to $3 higher. Steers and heifers under 600 pounds were not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 99.10 to 100.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 99.50 to 101.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 98.75 to 101.00; 12 head, 923 lbs., 95.60.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 600 to 650 lbs., 90.75 to 93.50; 43 head, 691 lbs., 93.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 91.50 to 92.25; 74 head, thin/spayed 705 lbs., 93.35; 750 to 800 lbs., 91.60 to 91.75; 54 head, thin/spayed 762 lbs., 94.35; 43 head, 808 lbs., 90.00.
