K-State College of Agriculture training program selects new membersThe College of Agriculture Ambassadors at Kansas State University has selected new members for the College of Agriculture Training Program. The four-month program teaches College of Agriculture students about K-State, the college and majors offered by the college. Students in the program also will learn skills, such as resume building and interviewing tips, to help them attain an internship or job. Once participants complete the program, they will be invited to apply to become a College of Agriculture Ambassador. The ambassadors assist with various activities both on and off campus that promote the college. Two current ambassadors also serve as coordinators of the College of Agriculture Training Program and are responsible for preparing information, lessons plans and worksheets for students in the program. The ambassadors are Dalton Henry, senior in agricultural economics and agricultural communications and journalism, Randolph; and Rebecca Tokach, senior in animal sciences and industry St. Anthony, N.D. New members of the College of Agriculture Training Program include: Kathleen Sexton, freshman in agricultural economics and agricultural communications and journalism, Abilene; Michael Lanzrath, junior in agricultural communications and journalism and animal sciences and industry, Allen. From Arkansas City: Jennifer Butler, freshman in agriculture education; Sarah Marten, freshman in general agriculture; and Brynn Nulik, freshman in agriculture education. Heather Oentrich, freshman in agricultural communications and journalism, Barnes; Rheba Howard, freshman in animal sciences and industry, Bremen; Alexandra Olson, sophomore in animal sciences and industry, Ellsworth.
