Clovis livestock sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 3,500 head Oct. 29, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $1 lower.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, few 221 to 240 lbs., 130.00 to 135.00; 300 to 350 lbs., 125.00 to 130.00; lot 386 lbs., 118.50; 400 to 500 lbs., 112.50 to 122.00; package 435 lbs., weaned 124.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 97.00 to 109.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 91.00 to 96.75, calves 86.50 to 94.25; few 700 to 710 lb. calves 84.50 to 85.50; package 763 lbs., 88.00; package 850 lbs., 85.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, package 274 lbs., thin 130.50; package 348 lbs., 126.00; 400 to 450 lbs., 114.50 to 123.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 106.00 to 113.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 100.00 to 103.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 92.75 to 96.00; package 647 lb. calves 90.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 84.50 to 94.75; 800 to 900 lbs., 87.50 to 89.00.
