Apache livestock sales reportThe Stockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 2,638 head Oct. 23, compared to 1,204 head last week and 3,340 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were $2 to $3 higher. Feeder heifers and heifer calves were $4 to $6 higher. Steer calves were $3 to $7 higher. Demand is greatly improved. The supply included 64% over 600 pounds and 43% heifers.
