Texhoma livestock sales reportThe Texhoma Livestock Auction, Texhoma, Okla., reported receipts of 970 head Nov. 19, compared to 810 head last week and 1,475 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Kan. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $3 to $4 lower in a limited test. Steer calves were steady to $6 lower. Heifer calves were $1 to $5 lower. Demand was moderate for all classes. Weigh-ups were average. The supply included 43% steers, 46% heifers 52% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows $3 lower. Slaughter bulls were $2 lower. A total of 100 cows and bulls sold with 50% going to packers.
