Superior video auction report

The Superior Video Auction reported offering of 36,200 head Nov. 14, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Amarillo, Texas.

Compared to the last sale, feeder steers and heifers traded generally $2 to $6 higher with light calves at times trending higher and a limited test of all contracts. The supply includes 50% feeder steers and heifers over 600 pounds, 53% of the supply were steers and 47% heifers. Prices FOB based on net weights after a 2 to 3% pencil shrink or equivalent, with a 3 to 6 cent slide on yearlings and 4 to 10 on calves. Deliveries current through January 2009.
