Pratt 3 p.m cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 3,000 head, as of 3 p.m., Nov. 20, according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, steers at 600 to 800 pounds were in a limited supply, medium and large frame 1 steers were $5 to $8 lower. Feeder heifers at 700 to 900 pound were $6 to $9 lower. Steers under 600 pounds and heifers under 700 pounds, early sales, were $4 to $6 lower.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, fancy 416 lbs., 127.00; 19 head, 458 lbs., 115.50; 500 to 550 lbs., 107.00 to 108.85; 550 to 600 lbs., 100.00 to 107.50; 16 head, fancy 604 lbs., 98.25; 850 to 900 lbs., 88.85 to 89.00; 56 head, 905 lbs., 88.10.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 19 head, 421 lbs., 98.50; 500 to 550 lbs., 90.50 to 94.00; 38 head, 558 lbs., 91.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 87.10 to 89.60; 750 to 800 lbs., 84.00 to 86.25; 37 head, thin 762 lbs., 89.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 83.75 to 84.00; 65 head, 857 lbs., 83.75; 8 head, 961 lbs., 79.50.
