No brucellosis in Wyoming herd linked to Nebraska caseCHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP)--The Wyoming state veterinarian says all cattle in a western Wyoming herd have tested negative for brucellosis after being linked to a cow that tested positive for the livestock disease in Nebraska. Livestock investigators had traced the infected cow from a Nebraska slaughterhouse to a Bondurant-area herd in September. Ninety-four animals from the Sublette County ranch tested negative back in September, but the remainder couldn't be tested until early November because they were on summer range. A positive test would have indicated Wyoming's second brucellosis-infected herd in two years, jeopardizing the state's disease-free status. 11/24/08 Date: 11/19/08
