Huron cattle sales report

The Bales Continental Commission Co., Huron, S.D., reported receipts of 1,720 head Nov. 18, compared to 1,812 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Last sale was three weeks ago, trends are not applicable. Steers comprised 58% of the run; heifers 42%, with 54% of the run was over 600 pounds.
