Ada livestock sales report

The Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,400 head Nov. 12, compared to 1,700 head last week and 1,850 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City Okla.

Compared to last week, stocker and feeder steers were $2 to $4 higher, heifers were steady. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 34% over 600 pounds and 53% heifers.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 327 lbs., 127.00; 7 head, 413 lbs., 124.00; 12 head, 469 to 481 lbs., 114.00 to 114.50 (114.29); 501 to 537 lbs., 107.50 to 115.00 (110.27); 550 to 598 lbs., 100.50 to 103.00 (101.34); 4 head, 579 lbs., 98.50 fleshy; 617 to 647 lbs., 93.00 to 98.00 (96.63); 673 to 687 lbs., 94.50 to 99.25 (96.73); 715 to 733 lbs., 91.00 to 96.50 (94.51); 7 head, 765 to 779 lbs., 94.50 to 95.50 (94.78); 5 head, 849 lbs., 93.50; 9 head, 971 to 984 lbs., 88.50 to 91.50 (90.16). Medium and large frame 2, 5 head, 377 lbs., 116.00; 417 to 448 lbs., 105.00 to 114.00 (110.34); 14 head, 477 to 497 lbs., 105.00 to 112.00 (108.50); 560 to 576 lbs., 91.00 to 99.50 (95.90); 13 head, 600 to 642 lbs., 88.00 to 92.00 (89.94); 5 head, 703 to 718 lbs., 81.50 to 83.50 (82.29).
