Aberdeen cattle sales report

The Hub City Livestock Auction, Aberdeen, S.D., reported receipts of 7,311 head Nov. 19, compared to 5,233 head last week and 5,817 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Compared to last week, feeder steers sold $3 to $5 lower. Heifers sold $4 to $6 lower. Demand was good with many of the offerings sold in load lots. Steers comprised 59% of the run, heifers 41%, with 61% of the supply over 600 pounds.
