Ogallala livestock salesThe Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Neb., reported receipts of 4,100 head Nov. 6, compared to 3,200 head last week and 5,200 head last year, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb. Compared to last week, steers and heifers traded $2 to $9 higher. Demand was good on all weights. Steers accounted for 62% and heifers 38% of the offering, with 25% over 600 pounds.
