Insect and Disease Management School Dec. 4 in Smith Center

Kansas

Smith County Extension and the Post Rock Extension District are sponsoring an Insect and Disease Management School at the Christian Church in Smith Center on Dec. 4.

The school is designed to aid producers, commercial applicators and Certified Crop Consultants in identifying and managing insect and disease problems in corn, soybeans, grain sorghum, sunflowers and wheat. There will be 7 hours applicable for the 1A certification and 1 core hour needed for commercial license renewal. CCA credits will also be applied for.

Registration is at 8 a.m., with presentations until 5 p.m. Pre-registration is required by Nov. 25. Contact Scott Chapman at 785-738-3597 in Beloit or Sandra Wick in Smith Center for more information or to register.
