Arkansas livestock sales summaryThe weekly summary of livestock sales in Arkansas for the week ending Nov. 6, showed estimated receipts of 10,425 head, compared to 12,473 head last week and 12,153 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, Little Rock, Ark. Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold $1 to $3 lower. Slaughter bulls sold steady to $1 lower. Feeders sold mostly $2 to $5 higher. The supply included 6,320 stocker and feeder calves, 2,390 feeder yearlings, 465 replacement cows, 1,140 slaughter cows and 110 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 42% yearling heifers. Slaughter cows: Breakers, 75 to 80% lean, 1000 to 1500 lbs., 40.00 to 46.00; high dressing, 46.00 to 50.50. Boners, 80 to 85%% lean, 950 to 1400 lbs., 39.00 to 45.00; high dressing, 45.00 to 49.00; low dressing, 35.00 to 39.00. Lean, 85 to 90% lean, 900 to 1300 lbs., 36.00 to 42.00; high dressing, 42.00 to 47.00; low dressing, 30.00 to 36.00. Light, 85 to 92% lean, 700 to 950 lbs., 28.00 to 35.00; low dressing, 18.00 to 27.00.
