Youth "Investigate 4-H"

Colorado

4-H members and leaders helped Morgan County youth "investigate" projects and opportunities available to youth through the 4-H program. Peggy Edson, Lads n Lassies 4-H leader, coordinated "Investigate 4-H Night" held recently at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.

Leaders and parents assisting were Mary Burkhart, Tracy Donaghy, Mary Endsley, Vickie Hoffman, Glenda Kehm, Steve Lebsock, Lester Von Feldt, Shari McMinn, Windy Sawall, Blaine Uhrig, Stephanie Warboys, and Kathy Westhoff.

Steve Kehm, volunteer shooting sports leader, and 4-H member, Greyson Kehm offered youth the opportunity to "try out" shooting an air rifle.

Peggy Edson and Kathy Westhoff greeted the guests. Other 4-H youth helping with the event were: Chris Burkhart, Kaitlyn Burkhart, Dillon Donaghy, Jake Donaghy, Ashlee Hayes, Audrey Hoffman, Keleigh Hoffman, Zach Lebsock, Destiny McMinn, Eddie McMinn, Hayley McMinn, Megan McMinn, Sara Parker, Grady Schamberger, Wade Schamberger, William Schneider, Clay Shaver, Mallory Shaver, Toby Uhrig, McKenna Von Feldt, Dustin Warboys, and Sheyanne Warboys.

Now is the time for youth to become involved in 4-H. There are 16 4-H clubs across Morgan County available for youth to join with over 50 different projects from which to select. For more information on the 4-H program, call the Morgan County Extension Office at 970-542-3540.
