Sioux Falls feeder pigs

The Sioux Falls feeder pig auction, Sioux Falls, S.D., reported receipts of 174 head April 29, compared to 110 head two weeks ago and 296 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

This is the first sale in several weeks with sufficient receipts to report, therefore, trends were not applicable. All sales were based on actual weight and by the head.

U.S. 2 to 3: 29 head, 30 lbs., 15.00; 39 head, 37 lbs., 16.00; 28 head, 45 lbs., 22.00; 67 to 69 lbs., 25.00 to 30.00 (29.23).
