Limousin futurity is set for July 18The All-American Limousin Futurity (AALF) will be Friday, July 18, at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls, S.D. It will be in conjunction with the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLSC). In addition to the traditional Limousin open show, which is one of the North American Limousin Foundation's (NALF's) four major Medal of Excellence (MOE) shows, this year's event will include the fifth annual Lim-Flex show and third annual special fullblood show. The April issue of Limousin World magazine included the AALF entry form, or breeders can request one by calling American Cattle Services (ACS) at (580) 597-3006. Entry forms and fees are due to ACS by May 15. NJLSC exhibitors should note that their entries do not enter them automatically in any of the AALF shows. The North American Limousin Foundation (www.nalf.org), headquartered in Centennial, Colo., provides programs and services--including genetic evaluation of 5,000 active sires--to more than 4,000 members and their commercial customers. The Limousin breed and its Lim-Flex hybrid lead the beef industry in muscle-growth efficiency and ideally complement British breeds. 5/5/08 Date: 4/30/08
