Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., May 22 reported estimated receipts of 4,500 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers, 750 to 1000 pounds, were steady to $1 higher on early sales. Heifers, 800 to 950 pounds, were steady to $1 higher. Steers, 750 pounds and under and heifers 800 pounds and under not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 55 head, 790 lbs., 110.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 108.50 to 110.10; 850 to 900 lbs., 106.50 to 108.85; 900 to 950 lbs., 102.85 to 104.60; 950 to 1000 lbs., 100.60 to 101.85.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 850 to 900 lbs., 98.75 to 99.10; 900 to 950 lbs., 97.50 to 99.10.
