Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 800 head May 14, compared to 650 head last week and 1,414 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were $3 higher. Feeder heifers were steady to $5 higher. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were thin to fleshy. Demand was good on all classes. The supply included 42% heifers and 35% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 7 head, 305 to 344 lbs., 133.00 to 139.00 (136.83); 11 head, 408 to 443 lbs., 121.00 to 130.00 (126.36); 15 head, 456 to 487 lbs., 116.00 to 119.00 (118.11); 11 head, 503 to 513 lbs., 115.00 to 122.00 (119.30); 12 head, 580 to 581 lbs., 112.00 to 115.00 (112.75); 17 head, 602 to 642 lbs., 109.50 to 112.00 (110.54); 16 head, 674 to 698 lbs., 106.00 to 109.50 (107.38); 8 head, 708 to 747 lbs., 107.00 to 107.50 (107.31); 16 head, 763 to 790 lbs., 104.00 to 105.50 (104.50). Medium and large frame 2, 5 head, 405 to 433 lbs., 109.50 to 116.00 (112.00); 6 head, 470 to 488 lbs., 114.00 to 115.00 (114.33).
