Woodward livestock auction reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Okla., reported receipts of 7,363 head May 9, compared to 8,209 head last week and 5,510 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were $1 to $3 higher except those at 800 pounds were steady. Feeder heifers were $2 to $4 higher. Steer calves were steady. Heifer calves were not well tested. Demand was good for all classes. Fill was average to full. The supply included 62% steers, 36% heifers with 92% over 600 pounds.
