West Plains cattle salesThe Ozarks Regional Stockyard, West Plains, Mo., reported receipts of 2,300 head May 13, compared to 4,405 head last week and 3,168 head last year, according to the Missouri Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Jefferson City, Mo. Compared to last week, steers and heifers were $3 to $6 higher. The supply was light to moderate, generally, quality was not as attractive at last week. Demand was good, with good buyer attendance.
