Russell County Wheat Plot Tour set May 22

Kansas

Kansas' most celebrated crop will be highlighted during the annual Russell County Extension Annual Wheat Tour May 22 at the field east of Russell High School at 7 a.m.

Participants will then reconvene at the Elk's Club for the traditional breakfast, courtesy of Agco, Inc. Guest speaker Dan O'Brien, NW Area Extension agricultural economist, will give the "Wheat Market Outlook."

The breakfast is free, but make reservations by calling the Extension Office at 785-483-3157 or e-mailing Kelly Driscoll at driscoll@ksu.edu so enough food is prepared.
