Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., May 15, reported estimated receipts of 6,000 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers early sales 650 to 1000 pounds were $2 to $5 higher, heifers 650 to 1000 pounds were $3 to $5 higher. Steers and heifers under 650 pounds not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 112.50 to 115.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 113.00 to 114.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 110.00 to 112.25; 800 to 850 lbs., 107.75 to 110.00; 64 head 851 lbs., 110.00; 40 head 938 lbs., 103.50; 950 to 1000 lbs., 100.85 to 101.60.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 107.50 to 108.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 107.10 to 108.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 104.75 to 107.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 102.50 to 103.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 95.00 to 97.35; 900 to 950 lbs., 96.50 to 98.25.
