Folicur fungicide available for cereals in 2008

Bayer CropScience, Research Triangle Park, N.C., will once again be recommending the Proline 3+3 fungicide combination to cereal growers for superior disease management on wheat and barley.

Randy Myers, Bayer CropScience fungicide product manager, said access to both Proline and Folicur gives growers the opportunity to take rust, leaf diseases and Fusarium head blight (scab) control to the next level by relying on the Proline 3+3 combination.

"When growers combine three ounces of Proline fungicide with three ounces of Folicur fungicide, they get the best scab and foliar disease control available," says Myers. "This 3+3 combination gives the grower the advantage of the powerful, broad-spectrum chemistry in Proline with the benefits of Folicur."

Bayer CropScience is constantly working to provide wheat and barley growers with the most significant innovations available to manage foliar and head diseases.
