Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 650 head May 7, compared to 1,030 head last week and 639 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady, feeder heifers were steady to $1 higher. Demand was good on all classes. Flesh conditions were thin to fleshy. The supply included 48% heifers and 31% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 330 to 336 lbs., 130.00 to 133.00 (130.99); 6 head, 505 to 542 lbs., 111.00 to 120.00 (114.58); 7 head, 615 to 632 lbs., 105.00 to 106.00 (105.56); 8 head, 705 lbs., 102.50; 10 head, 764 to 792 lbs., 101.00 to 102.50 (101.74); 7 head, 815 to 848 lbs., 92.00 to 94.00 (92.84). Medium and large frame 2, 9 head, 455 to 490 lbs., 105.00 to 110.00 (108.83); 16 head, 512 to 545 lbs., 105.00 to 110.00 (108.51); 11 head, 602 to 626 lbs., 100.00 to 105.00 (101.33). Feeder bulls: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 318 to 348 lbs., 129.00; 8 head, 378 to 396 lbs., 126.00 to 130.00 (126.97); 9 head, 407 to 409 lbs., 117.00 to 118.50 (117.67). Medium and large frame 2, 12 head, 458 to 489 lbs., 106.00 to 113.00 (109.10).
