ALB announces second round of cooperative funding program

The American Lamb Board is now soliciting applications for its Supplier Cooperative Funding Program. The deadline for submitting applications is June 30. A total of $30,000 is available to fund cooperative programs.

The program is designed to encourage American lamb suppliers to promote American lamb and further the goals and objectives of the American Lamb Board's Strategic Plan through targeted retail and/or foodservice promotions.

--The promotions should incorporate an innovative use of marketing techniques to provide incentives for restaurants and/or retailers to promote and support American lamb.

--Priority will be given to programs that are focused on high-consumption markets.

--The cooperative funds will require a dollar-for-dollar match. In-kind contributions do not qualify as matching funds.

--The funds can only be used to promote American lamb.

--All promotional materials will be required to include an American Lamb Board acknowledgment.

For more information or to request copies of the new application contact, Megan Wortman at 866-327-5262 or megan@americanlambboard.org.
