Woman feeding livestock diesin ATV mishap ANDOVER, Kan. (AP)--Butler County authorities have identified the Kansas woman killed recently when her ATV rolled on top of her as she fed livestock in a pasture. Deputies say 53-year-old Connie Farmer was rushed to Kansas Medical Center in Andover but was pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities say she was not wearing a helmet and was working alone late April 12 when the four-wheeler rolled. The Butler County Sheriff's Sergeant Luke Grimes says it's not clear when the accident may have happened. The woman's death comes as Kansas officials urge safe use of ATVs. Kansas currently has no state laws that regulate ATV use, except that the vehicles must be registered. Helmets, eye protection and training courses are not required.
