Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 4,500 head, May 8, according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture to USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers 750 to 1000 pounds were $1 to $5 higher, heifers 600 to 900 pounds were $1 to $4 higher. Steers and heifers 300 to 600 pounds not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 29 head, 701 lbs., 111.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 106.50 to 107.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 105.00 to 107.25; 850 to 900 lbs., 102.85 to 105.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 101.75 to 104.00; 950 to 100 lbs., 95.25 to 98.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 105.00 to 108.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 103.00 to 105.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 101.50 to 102.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 100.50 to 101.10; 800 to 850 lbs., 98.75 to 99.35; 850 to 900 lbs., 93.50 to 94.75.
