Hayes County Livestock Judging Contest to be held May 8

Nebraska

Southwest Nebraska residents of all ages are invited to participate in the Hayes County Livestock Judging Contest to be held on May 8 at the Hayes County Fairgrounds in Hayes Center, Neb. The evening begins with registration from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Judging will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The contest will include six classes of beef, sheep, swine and horse. Ten ribbon placings will be awarded in each of the four age divisions--Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Adult, as well as a trophy for the high point judge in each age division. Pre-4-Hers will receive participation ribbons.

The contest is co-sponsored by the Hayes County 4-H Council and the Hayes Center FFA Chapter.

Everyone is welcome.
