Colorado to host Gelbvieh Western Regional ShowColorado The Colorado Gelbvieh Association, in conjunction with the American Gelbvieh Junior Association, is hosting the 2008 AGJA Western Regional Show, June 12 to 15 in Sterling. The event will be held at the Logan County Fairgrounds. Participants will be competing in contests for all-around points and the chance to win a bred Gelbvieh heifer sponsored by the Colorado Gelbvieh Association. Jumping Cow Gelbvieh of Ramah, Colo., bred this female and is caring for the heifer prior to the Western Regional Show. Contests featured at the Western Regional include Sales Talk, Poster, Photo, Advertising and Livestock Judging. The two-day event wraps up with Showmanship on Saturday, June 14, followed by bred & owned bull show, market steer show, Balancer female show and Gelbvieh female show.
