Apache livestock sales report

Stockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 2,370 head May 1, compared to 1,973 head last week and 3,175 head last year, according to the USDA to Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers were $1 to $3 higher, heifers were $3 to $5 higher. Steer and heifer calves were steady to $1 higher. Weigh to ups were average. The supply included 78% over 600 lbs and 44% heifers.
