Woodward livestock sales reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 5,887 head March 21, compared to 9,815 head last week and 7,133 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $1.50 higher. Stocker steers were steady to $2 higher. Heifer calves were steady to $2 higher. Demand was good for all classes. Weigh-ups were average to full. The supply included 59% steers, 40% heifers with 84% over 600 pounds.
