Farm Credit of Western Kansas awards scholarship

Farm Credit of Western Kansas, ACA, has awarded its annual scholarship to Forrest Trachsel of Goodland, Kan. The $500 scholarship is renewable for up to four years at the college of the recipient's choice. The Goodland High School senior plans to attend Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. Trachsel is the son Cleve and Sandy Trachsel of Goodland.

Forrest is a member of the National Honor Society, and participated in football, and baseball, G-club, and X-Presso's. He is also active in 4-H and Youth Group, and is a FSA Student Youth Loan recipient.

In support of the agricultural community of Northwest Kansas, the Board of Directors of Farm Credit of Western Kansas, ACA, Colby, Kan., has established this $500 scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a high school senior who is a member or whose parents are members of Farm Credit of Western Kansas, ACA.
